Experience: I received my 300 Hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India in 2017. Since then I trained with Mark Robberds in India and Bali in 2018 and 2019. I have taught at various studios around Edmonton since 2017 and recently completed my Yin training in May 2024.

In June 2024, I attended a month long Ashtanga Teachers Immersion with Ty Landrum diving deep into philosophy, the foundations of asana (postures), fine tuning alignment and adjustments.

I am currently practicing intermediate series and the beginning of third series of Ashtanga. This intense practice is filled with challenges that push both physical and mental boundaries. Progressing into the demanding postures requires a nuanced understanding of one’s limitations and a heightened sense of self-awareness.

I love teaching a vigorous Ashtanga inspired flow class, but I also enjoy teaching a variety of classes such as: Inversions & Arm Balances, Vinyasa, Hatha Flow, Pranayama and Yin.

I am open-minded and firmly believe that movement is magic. Outside of yoga, I love going for runs, hiking, HIIT workouts, longboarding and playing tennis. Implementing movement to my life elevates every part of me – energetically, mentally, physically, emotionally.

Training Philosophy: Patience and consistent care are paramount to help shape your physical yoga practice and its resilient nature. Seeking depth and refinement in asana requires dedication, a mindful approach, and a willingness to explore its subtle layers as you flow from breath to breath each time you practice.

Honour the ebb and flow within your practice, set achievable intentions each day, commit to showing up, embrace the gradual progression, make space for growth and most importantly be kind to yourself and celebrate your milestones.

Favorite post workout Meal: I typically practice asana at 5-7am and I love starting my day with a colourful smoothie or yogurt bowl with toppings packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to start my day.

If it’s after a workout, it’s likely in the afternoon… and I will likely indulge for dinner and have a Vegan Double Flatboy burger and crush a Sea Change beer, the Wolf!
