Experience: I’ve been in health and fitness for over 20 years as both an athlete and coach. I am a former university, National Team and Professional volleyball player and I’ve been a movement coach for the past 10 years. I also own a company specializing in making volleyball players arm swings more efficient so they can stay healthy and add more velocity. With this company I consult with University programs and run clinics across North America.
Training Philosophy: Clients and athletes often turn to me when the traditional methods of training and therapy still have them grappling with pain or performance setbacks. I take a unique approach to movement that allows clients to do what they love pain free, sometimes for the first time in years. I believe the key to achieving this is to take a comprehensive approach, drawing on knowledge of how human movement patterns evolved, modern movement science and the ability to translate new movement ability into sport specific skill.
A typical session involves assessing your movements; considering both the context of the weight room and your sport. This allows us to work together to fully understand where problems may be arising. Moving forward, we begin the process of you becoming a more efficient mover in order to sustain high performance for longer, without injuries or set backs.
I want you to do what you love, at the level you want. Whether you’re an olympian, a weekend warrior or a young athlete, I will show you the path towards being pain free and performing at your highest level!
