From: Edmonton, AB

Education: Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. She is a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT) and a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC). Stephanie also earned her Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and completed her Laban Bartenieff Introduction to Anatomy and Kinesiology certification, deepening her understanding of biomechanics and the body in motion.

Experience: Born and raised in Edmonton, Stephanie began dancing at the age of two and has spent her life immersed in the dance world. She trained as a competitive dancer throughout her childhood and adolescence before stepping into the professional realm as an Edmonton Oilers Octane dancer and commercial performer.

Stephanie later moved to New York City to complete her Master’s degree, where she discovered the profound power of movement in supporting mental health and strengthening the mind-body connection. After graduate school, she relocated to Orange County, working as an R-DMT, Spin and HIIT instructor before returning home to Edmonton in 2024.

Today, Stephanie teaches spin, strength, HIIT, and sculpt classes, bringing both her performance background and therapeutic training into every session.

Training Philosophy: Stephanie’s philosophy is grounded in the belief that movement is medicine. She emphasizes connection to self, to breath, to strength, and to the community in the room. Her classes are designed not only to challenge the body but also to cultivate confidence, resilience, and presence.

Whether leading a high-energy spin class or a powerful strength session, Stephanie creates an inclusive space where participants feel empowered, supported, and inspired. For her, group fitness is more than a workout; it’s an opportunity to move together, grow together, and leave feeling stronger inside and out.

Favourite Post-Workout Meal: A berry protein smoothie with chocolate oat milk, frozen berries, and protein powder paired with cottage cheese with hot honey and cinnamon.
